Spinning ice wheel appears on Vigala river before the turn between the Vana-Vigala park and Hiieoru mouth. There are many springs and whirls in the river. One can notice the rotating movement of water even in summer while floating paper ships. When temperatures drop below the freezing point a disk-shaped rotating ice mass forms on the river.
There was 8º C with strong southeast wind on January 16th 2018. The diameter of the ice wheel was 23 meters as it was last year. It took 9,2 minutes to make one full circle. The speed of spinning was 13 centimeters in a second.
